Miles Morales being an all - too - idealistic Spider - Man should n’t amount as too much of a surprise , deal that he takes after his predecessor , Peter Parker . Peter ’s idealism and optimism toward the humans has always been one of hisbest traitsin any form of media , but it ’s a trait that has its faults . The newUltimate Spider - Manseries is focus around a Spider - Man who is far too trusting in a way thatcould get someone kill . Peter wants to always see the good that hoi polloi have to extend , but this often go out him blindside by the evils in those same the great unwashed .
Now , this quality is rub off of Peter and onto Miles . While being so decent , optimistic , and friendly should come with the territory of being Spider - Man , a line should be tie between hoping for the best in the great unwashed and expecting the defective in multitude .
