When Larry ’s wing is uncover , he have a feeble round of clapping . When Ted ’s is unveiled , he gets an uproarious response , much to Larry ’s chagrin .
This is one ofCurb Your Enthusiasm ’s most rewatchable episodes , becauseit highlight the hypocrisy and pretentiousness of human behavior through Larry ’s oculus . Ted claims he donated the wing anonymously because he did n’t want any ostentation , but he still told everyone it was him and got a wad more fanfare than the name bestower . TheCurb Your Enthusiasmversion of Ted is hilariously pretentious , and Larry is the only one who can see through it .
