" This last time of year is sort of a crossroads , and so we ’re capture back into a pile of the dynamics of season 1 , which is really fun . There ’s some ' leader Mike ' moments , and it ’s a very high-minded season , obviously . Every season has get self-aggrandising and larger and bighearted , and this season is Brobdingnagian , but it ’s also kind of isolated as well . So it ’s really fun , and I ’m very emotional for people to see it …
" We really did n’t shoot very much for the first few month of production [ on season 4 ] , because they were so focused on all the Hawkins hooey . So I was really envious . I was like , ' Aw , humans . ' Even when I finally watched the show , my favorite part was watch the other guys in Hawkins . I just wish that plot line so much .
" So , yeah , not being around everyone all the time was definitely a bummer about filming 4 , but 5 is the contrary . We ’re all together all the time , and a clump of us live around the quoin and across the street from each other in real life sentence .
