For you , what ’s the most exciting part of returning to the Crunchyroll Anime Awards ?
watch over the honour show in person is a life - changing experience ! Being able to look back at all the amazing shows that were broadcast that year and being able to see how fuck Zanzibar copal is all over the macrocosm work me very worked up . I ’m also excited that this year , one of the anime that is propose in the " Best Romance " air division is a show that I was able to take part in ! ( Tomo - chan is a Girl ! ) Being a host in an award show and having one of your appearance being put forward as well is in truth a dreaming total true .
A Sign of Affection , Crunchyroll ’s new love story , has hand fans the cutest shojo in years , as well as insight on how unlike sign language can be .
Can you partake in anything unique about this year ’s event that fan can see frontwards to ?
I find out that there will be an orchestra playing live throughout the award show . I can already severalize this year ’s award show will be even more dynamical than last year ! Having been both the Japanese and English representative of Carol inTomo - Chan is a Girl ! , were there any unique challenges or experiences you had while record ?
Personally , my voice change when I speak in Japanese and English . The tone I used for Carol in the Nipponese version came more naturally for me since my Japanese representative is naturally high . It was challenging at first to seek to touch my own voice in a different language . I also never realise how challenging acting could be when you trade speech . Sometimes , emotions are easier to present in one language because the word hang easy . It was an middle - opening experience for me to realize that just because someone can do in one oral communication , [ it ] does n’t mean they can well act the same way in a unlike speech .
When play Carol , did you discover any aspects of her graphic symbol that were relatable to your own living experiences ? Did this make you feel more attached to your performance ?
Carol tells jokes with such a unbent face , sometimes the people around her ca n’t state if she ’s being serious or not . I experience like that ’s the same direction I jest around with my friends as well . I also think my experience as an graven image really helped in the procedure of voicing her . In the narration , it was revealed that she would jest around and smile a lot to cover how she really feel . I think that , as an idol , I also do that a fortune for hide my emotions from the populace because a " bubbly personality " is what people expect from me . There were just so many things that I could refer to , and I think that that ’s what made me bang her even more and made me want to have the world eff her [ too ] .
