There ’s been some tension between various family members over design a fundraising case , with Amy Roloff taking charge and being accused of act like a " potentate . While the annoyer does n’t admit the entire family ’s reaction , it does show Matt and Caryn reveal the big news to Amy ’s husband Chris Marek . " I asked Caryn to marry me , and she state yes , " Matt says at the start of the promo .
Chris leans over the table across from the newly charter couplet to inspect the ringing on Caryn ’s hired hand . Then Matt add that he and Caryn will be doing things " completely different " for their marriage . " We ’re going to invite you guys , " he jokes before bursting out laughing , which causes Chris to laugh as well . In a confessional , Caryn admit that she and Matt have n’t come up with the Edgar Guest list yet , so she was worried when Matt tell Chris and he and Amy will be take in . " I was like , uh oh , " Caryn exclaims .

Matt and Caryn got engagedback in April 2023 . Amy has already move on with Chris , soit ’s great to see Matt being able to do the same thing with Caryn . However , she has n’t always gotten the best response since first appearing onLittle People , Big World . Caryn has been charge of smash Matt ’s lifespan . It was disclose in a recent episode that Matt will be leaving the farm to Amy when he dies ; during that aspect , Caryn noted that she does n’t want to inherit the property . Even if she did have a hand in that decision , it ’s probably for the best that Amy inherit it instead .
