Star Wars: The Bad Batch Contains A Subtle Porg Easter Egg
InThe Bad Batchseason 3 , sequence 4 , " A Different overture , " Crosshair and Z attempt to rescue Omega ’s darling creature , Batcher , whom she befriended while held captive by the Empire . During that rescue missionary post , they embark a consignment docking facility full of other creatures . Although the animal making the phone is n’t bear witness on covert , the very distinct Porg screeching can be hear in the distance .
While it was n’t substantiate that Porgs only be on Ahch - To , they are native to the island , and they ’ve never appeared anywhere else inStar Wars . If this facility did contain a Porg , it evoke that not only did some traders have an cognizance of the major planet , but also that they had either been to the island themselves or work or swap with someone else who had . This has monumental implications for Luke ’s sacred Jedi island , which was intend to be"the most unfindable place in the galaxy . “Perhaps it was n’t only findable , but also had already been found .
Traders & Explorers Must Have Known Ahch-To’s Location All Along
If , in fact , that animal was a Porg , then at minimum , Explorer recognise of the Ahch - To ’s location and had even been there . This is important not only because it becomes Luke ’s hiding place , though , as it was alsothe Prime Jedi ’s temple , which included the ancient Jedi text , hold , presumably , many arcanum and long - forgotten traditions of the Jedi . It also suggests that the explorers had n’t discover the truthful descent of the island and its connections to the Prime Jedi . Had they realized it , this certainly would have been leveraged for a payout from the Empire .
Did Some Explorers Even Know About The Hermit On Ahch-To?
Despite Luke Skywalker ’s closing off on Ahch - To and the First Order ’s despair to find him , this suggests that some explorer may even have been mindful of his existence on the island , although , again , in all probability incognizant of who he was and his grandness .
